You may remember a while ago we had a minor splurge of newer artists all releasing some of their stems on social media, probably (hopefully) looking for some “unofficial remixes” to be made, possibly due to label restrictions to be fair, but even so, ClubRemixer decided to pick up that baton and give those artists a bit of promo, and of course, the obligatory CR “plug of the week” award.. which, we`d like to think helped certain songs achieve better results than they might have gotten without the said plug.. “The Blessed Madonna ft. Clementine Douglas – Happier” comes to mind, which we jumped on quite heavily as we all know a banger when we hear one !

Now, there may be something similar happening on the horizon. A week or two ago, we found out Britney Spears had been accepting some remixes for official release, and lets be honest here, remixes which were more than likely made from some Britney Stems and Multitracks that, at a guess, were not 100% authorised to be in the wild with the labels blessing, shall we say..
Even so, several not so well known producers that were coming up the ranks naturally, all got a bit of a boost when Britney went and released a bunch, officially. Great. We love to see it.

Now, there may be another wee trend about to hit remix land, one I`m sure we`d all like to see blow up, and happen big time.. Artists putting their own stems out and actually looking for remixes to release officially.Yay. At last.
Fast forward to the latest instance of this and we have Kesha coming up with the goods with a new “Remix Challenge” [please note- this is not a remix contest or competition – its a challenge]. Still not entirely sure what the difference is right now but lets go with it !
So if you would like to enter, you have roughly two weeks to get a remix done and get it over to Ke$ha. Probably via her Twitter/X page where news of this remix challenge was first announced, and where you can also get yourself a few more details about the challenge and grab the stems from source should you so wish.
