When an AI “multitrack” starts doing the rounds that confuses people to the extent that they thought it was a “real” multitrack, its probably fair to say the creator has done a good job. If you are totally confusing folk and amazing folk at the same time, then surely that is the ballpark to aim at when making these things? Fairplay. But 53 tracks? C`mon. Jordy. Please stop. 😉

Think it turned out ok, very much by accident ! Was working on another vocal over the inst. That soon got scrapped haha. And it may might be going down quite well within our ranks seeing as weve been once again inundated with mails from CR`s top DJ`s wanting a copy ! Well, one of our top cheesy Dj`s that is. so far. 😉 And yeahhh, it turned out a bit “UK Saturday Night – Pub” again guys, but that was squarely where it is aiming all along. We will have to check its pub dancefloor potential very soon eh? Just in time for Valentines !
Anyways, while waiting for the official acapella to land, or the stems, so the entire vocal track of the Mash Up can be done again.. it has been decided to launch a mini mash up remix contest.. basically, handing over the reigns of production to anyone who wants to grab them, not necessarily to polish for me.. definitely not wanting help with vocal levels or anything like that. a bit of mastering.. no siree. just passing it over to our guys to have “fun” with.

So the first official ClubRemixer “plug of the week” of the year is here ! Been a while waiting for something notable to appear in 2026 that is worthy our utmost accolade, admittedly didnt think it`d take a month and a bit to materialize, but now there is something we can do some shouting about.. at last !
On the CR radar this time is a Remix Competition for a true classic from 1976 ! which is of course Tina Charles “I Love To Love”. You guessed that already uh ?
This remix contest is already live and looking for submissions. Since yours truly only found the contest this morning (imagine missing it ! eek) so I do apologise for not bring news sooner, but one cant scan heaps of Instagram posts daily unfortunately. Good news is there`s still time to go grab the multitrack and a midi file and get a mix done (quickly) and entered into the competition.
Deadline is the end of this month so you do have to get your skates on somewhat.

10 Feb 26 Update
Guys, great news.. the remix package for the competition includes.. the real multitrack !! Transfered from tape to digital by the legendary remixer of DMC fame himself Sanny X (with the blessing of the label in case you were a wondering). But, bad news is CR has agreed not to release the the multi just yet for obvious reasons. It has been agreed that our members can have a copy after the contest is over, which, I suppose is fair. Please be patient, or, even better, get yourself emrolled in the contest, grab the multitrack & get a remix going.. but be quick.. clock is ticking !

While we`re here, might as well get a quick second plug of the week in for a site where the comp details were located.. which also happens to be 100% worth checking pretty frequently if you are into remix competitions.. and that site is Remiexs.com.. which you can visit here. Its the one I check as they aggregate all current remix comps, which must be a task and a half in itself.. but the site is deffo worth a look if contests are your thing, so do go have a little nosey.
Also, just a quick note to the producers and labels out there.. if you go to remeixes.com they have a submissions page where you can send them the deets to your remix contest, should you wish to hold one of course. The site is really the best for listings right now and is updated frequently. Last update was Feb 6th, for instance. Check em out. Worth a look.
