I guess we are so blessed having the top two dance music procuders in the world as members of ClubRemixer. I`m 100% sure they wont mind me “letting that slip“. Its been a total blast getting to know the guys.. just sayin. Was mentioning to David Guetta only the other day how its been so close for years between him and Calvin Harris for that “Number One Spot”. Which got me thinking.. Who is the number one supremo producer out of the two? So I Googled it. as you do. Google wasnt sure. says “it depends”.. Ah CMON !! “on streams or who makes the most moolah per gig“. Oh Ok. A bit non-committal.. Chat GTP then. Same. Surely Grok will save the day and come up with the definitive answer. Nope. Fully chickened out. “Its a draw, mostly”.. ffs.

After that I fed Chat GTP`s output into Grok`s input and vise versa, ie: fed each others results back to each other for 30 minutes straight. Still nothing !! No bloody winner ! I think I actually managed to piss AI bots off. So got fed up, then wired each other in a loop via a bot ! haha. Froze both apps ! and digital confusion reigned.. Probably blew a data centre or two up along the way, but no bother.

Ok, didnt do the last bit tbh. Felt like it tho.

Sigh.

Guess we may never know the answer to the “ultimate question”.

Anyways.. point of post.

Calvin (not his real name btw), who joined us early on was, shall we say, “keen” to grab one of our stem sets, and long story short (for now) he`s only gone and done a remix from the “76 bits and pieces” found in the said CR Remix Pack ! Nice. Not only that, but the track is going to be the official song for the Scottish World Cup Football Team ! See, CR is acually useful ..mostly..

Oh, btw, on your behalf dear reader, I really do try to get Calvin to part with some more stem sets for you guys, you know, to like, return the favour.. but, not saying he`s a bit tight with the stems (odd for a Scot), but I do have to remind him frequently of his behind the scenes nickname we have for him: “Calvin no ones having my stems-piss off Harris”. We do laugh. He loves it when I wind him up about his $300 Million Dollar net worth.

I remind him almost weekly that the stems are “only for the Masterpost”.. and keep promising him they wont “leak” and all that good stuff, but upto now its always been a definite no. So I`ve tried. Only thing left to try, is you guys. Please go and find Calvin on socials or in real life, on the beach probably, and greet him with the phrase ” Release More Stems – Tight Ass”. That should do the trick.

Its not as though we dont help out in other ways either.. I said to him only the other month to maybe try doing a little Bassline/Speedy Garage tune for a change.. you know, a bit of “135”. Add something surprising, with a twist.. with like a riff from some early 90`s trance tune, then maybe drop in a male vocal for a change.. and I mean, fairplay to him. So our guy with the “skills” has remixed the rave classic “Bits & Pieces” by Artemesia, to help Scotlands efforts in the World Cup tournament. And the news of that can mean only one thing ! The CR “Unofficial Remix Competition-Plug Of The Week” thing. Yay. Theyre soooo much fun !

Calvin`s done the official remix. Seems only right that everyone else can have a go at one of our unofficial ones uh?

You`ll get the exact same building blocks as the man himself.. so get to it. Plenty of time to get your mixes over to him.. Im sure he cant wait to hear them all.

Closing date is when the Scots kick that first ball against their initial opponents.. Brazil.
