Dua Lipa – Training Season (23 Stems)(44.1k-24bit)(Remix Contest)
If you hadn`t noticed, Dua Lipa’s “Training Season” is back on the treadmill of musical rotation and having a full-blown second life.. Everybody loves it when a tune gets some wind back in its sails again. Do they not ?
Originally released on February 15, 2024 as part of the Radical Optimism era, the track has since clawed its way back onto global charts and social feeds once again, and with much aplomb. Like a bomb. The spark was/is a viral manifestation trend on TikTok and Instagram.
Who would have guessed.
Here`s the lowdown:
Apparently, “fans have latched onto a piece of pop-culture lore that makes the song feel almost prophetic. “Training Season” is “a strict manifesto” about refusing to train another unreliable partner”. I know the feels.. It dropped on the exact birthday of Callum Turner—the actor Dua Lipa later married. The timing has turned the track into a digital good-luck charm: she wrote about ending the era of bad dates, and it aligned with the start of the relationship that stuck”.
That lore, combined with the song’s renewed streaming power (it recently crossed 1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming her 15th track to hit the mark), has, luckily enough created perfect conditions for some fresh remixes !!
Because us producers now get to access the previously unavailable stem set to help with the promotion of the song ! part deux..
But, be warned.. the bar is already high on this one guys, so best remixing shoes on. and dont forget the polish !
Have a listen below to two of the most popular remixes of “Training Season” so far.. One official.. the other.. not so much.
This is what you have to beat 🙂
Chloe Caillet Remix:
The official Chloé Caillet Mix is an hypnotic late-night deep-house club track. Very nice.
On the underground side of things, the bass-heavy Dj Dark Remix (who may or may not be one of our members.. shhh) has dominated gym playlists and dancefloors for a while.
Any new version has to clear those benchmarks to stand out. Not to put too finer point on it.
DJ Dark Remix:
Best mention about now lol that its Skio that have just opened up the “global remix contest” for “Training Season”, in partnership with Warner Records, once again. Producers get access to 23 official stems (including the dry lead vocal), with more than $11,000 in prizes and the chance for Warner A&R to hear the entries. It’s free to enter and closes in early November.
The remixers themselves can also earn cash from spamming their mixes all over social media. See competition rules for deets on that, because that is one rabbit hole this boy aint going down right now.
You can enter the Dua Lipa remix competition officially, to get the stems, or download them from our “back up links” 😉 below:
Good luck in the comp guys-make it a banger !

So there`s a new remix competition that`s just been launched to talk about, and as remix comps go, this ones quite a biggie ! In fact, probably he biggest one ever to hit the net full stop. Period.
Enough with the hype already, ok, there`s maybe a tad more on the incoming, but this new comp is from an artist, that just about anyone who listens to music (recently) will be aware of. None other than one of our favourite featured artists on ClubRemixer, Dua Lipa herself has decided to put the stems out for “Illusion” so everyone can have a go at remixing the song themselves. And there`s prizes ! and they are good ones !
The remix contest is currently open and up and running until September 17th 2024, so there is plenty of time to get a decent/unrushed mix in.. so what are you waiting for? Time to get your groove on people..
If you wish to enter the contest officially, head over to Skio and grab the stems there. Unfortunately, unless you are a subscriber to Skio, you will only be able to download 3 of the 27 stems, but subbing to them only costs 10 bucks or so, and as everybody knows, 10 bucks for a stem set is pretty cheap. 800 meg file, you`re quids in. Bargain of the century. There are some other sites that used to charge that amount just to keep the lights on and host 4TB of stuff for the same amount of cash, but lets not go there. That being said, I do find the idea Skio has come up with that lets you get 3 stems for free and then the 27 track stem set is for subscribers only kinda interesting. We will have to see how that pricing model pans out there and elsewhere.
You can of course download the stems we make as a back up from contests like this via the Nitro link provided, or you can simply download from the source.
Good luck everyone.

Glastonbury 2024 – Line up – News
Looks like today is the day that the Glastonbury 2024 line up starts getting finalised and released. So far the headliners have been making all the news because I`d assume many folk, or in this case, the internet, were expecting something completely different to what they got. Last year was all fellas and guitars, this year its the turn of the girls to make it to the main stage. Reactions kinda range from an unexpected surprise, to downright disappointment.
There`s a bit of a “not worthy” vibe going on tbh.
And I get the consternation.. the line up looks like a good day on CR rather than the line up for the worlds premier outdoor rock festival, with acts like Dua Lipa, SZA, Cyndi Lauper and Shania Twain, not forgetting Coldplay, who all got the nod over the likes of Madonna, the two Stevie`s (Wonder & Nicks) and a few others, who, for one reason or another didnt make the cut.
Personally, as the headliners go, I think its a corking line up and if nothing else, once again it proves that having a few stems sets out in the wild doesnt hurt your chances of getting the odd gig here and there.

Been sent a few bits and bobs in recently, which is always good 🙂 this being one of the bits. From what it seems, someone has gone to much trouble to recreate the RB4 version of Dua Lipa`s “Don`t Start Now” using the real Dont Start Now multitrack. Nice. If you recall, the original multitrack/stems pack was 91 tracks, so I suppose 5 is a bit more manageable for those who dont mind a little less separation. And a little more action.
