OK, all this checking & renaming files correctly is winning. (sigh). It`s still a good idea though. And to confuse matters more over the odd Multitrack/Stems/Upscaling/DiYing/Cover Version type of stem set that is doing the rounds atm, here`s some stems from what may or may not be FULLY, but probably is, an upscaled/downscaled multitrack. Spek scanned most tracks to be about 192k MP3, but reading as WAV 44.1k.. and that`s before anybody has checked any of the stems for being a cover version stem. Three of the files scanned good about 44.1k. You`ll have to guess which ones. So because of the Downscaling involved, it`s probs not a good idea to post the original stems for this pack on the site atm. They`ll get round and I`ll get the write up.
Apologies if it`s a bit too EDM in places 🙂
So, just to be absolutely clear, these are not the original multitrack files from the song, they`re from my “version” of it.. which you can hear above, with my levels,FX,Compression,EQ,Panning,Delay ect. on. So, as they say “Wet”. There are no drums because they just needed that bit more separation to work with in the mix. Just to cover any bases, there may or may not be any cover version stems in my version, though I dont think there is. If there are, lets say you fooled two lots of ears ! (That`s 4). BTW, if someone wants so do the drums, go ahead. The song tracks about 160bpm.
oh, if anybody does have the real multitrack of Kids In America, do send it in. Need those separated drums..
Still, it was a fun project to do, even if the panning went a bit wild, but anyway. Hope you enjoy my version of the track. For now.
