Going to squeeze a re-up in with the first “Plug of the Week” that we`ve had in a hot minute and a half.. Plenty of maybees here and there “in the feed”, but nothing appearing of a calibre that really slaps you in the face and goes “ha”.. but then that was before the new David Guetta track popped up.

I suppose you could call this unreleased song from the Little Mix “LM5” album a “dropped track”, as many people already have, but I`d be tempted to call it “Still W.I.P”. Leaving the instrumental aside for this minor review, to these old ears, the actual song and vocals are all ticking boxes.. so dunno. Why the doom and gloom? Whats the old saying? something like “A demo is a demo till its officially released” ?? Either way, to cut a long opinion short, all I`ll say is I`m 100% sure a house type of mix would work quite well on Little mix`s Señorita. Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink.
Someone should get properly on it.

In the pack there`s the 11 vocal stems & our M1 organ riff (and a midi file for it), which is similar to the Organ riff made for the Beyonce “Break My Soul” track.

Looks like there`s a little more news to bring on the Britney & Elton John “rumoured” new version of Tiny Dancer. Well, bottom line is its not a rumour any longer. The new song is called “Hold Me Closer” (based on the lyrics in the original song “hold me closer-tiny dancer) if you recall.. bit obvs now you see it in print, but anyways.. the song is confirmed, signed to Universal and should be out really soon.. as in this month soon.(August 2022).
On the conjecture side of things, expecting a big ol` power ballad may not be the right call cos as everyone knows, there`s an unwritten rule in the music biz where the ballad has to be the third single from an album (which there will be too), so odds are now looking like a dance track, so that favours something in the ball park of “Cold Heart”.
The hype train is calling this the “song of the summer”. btw.
