Cutting Crew – I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight (Multitrack)(26 Stereo Tracks)(44.1k-16bit)
Hey gang, hope everyone is doing good 🙂
OK, bit of fun time.. the Weeknds just about here 🙂
I was recently asked about a copy of the Cutting Crew – I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight stems, and after some digging and a bit of joking around tbh, it seems to come down to “preference of availability, and usefulness”. Now there`s a phrase.
Which got me thinking.. (so much so, I nearly ran a poll for this.. but, you know cba). If you could have only one of these packs in your life, which one would it be?(taking moolah out of the equazion).
1, The RockBand version, 7 submixed stems (14 mono) from, lets face it.. a game.. so rips may be of dubious origin & quality.. but something you can do whatever with..in your own software and then maybe remix it, or mash it or tweak it ect. And export it.. Then put it on the net and have some fun with things..
OR
2, The MTM version. 26 gloriously separated stereo stems where you can listen to every tiny detail of each instrument in a song, and still make a mix, but because of reasons, you have to use someone else`s software & you cant export your final creation. Or rip the vocal out to mash up with, or create an instrumental to mess around with.
Loaded question kinda but, a thinker for sure. Which would you pick?
Answers on a postcard please.. erm.. (no need to mail or msg in really lol)
Though feel free to have your say if you want tho – always nice to read opinions on these type of things 😉
