Little Mix ft. Maluma – Señorita (CR Remix Pack) 116 BPM
Fresh Leak !
I suppose you could call this unreleased song from the Little Mix “LM5” album a “dropped track”, as many people already have, but I`d be tempted to call it “Still W.I.P”. Leaving the instrumental aside for this minor review, to these old ears, the actual song and vocals are all ticking boxes.. so dunno. Why the doom and gloom? Whats the old saying? something like “A demo is a demo till its officially released” ?? Either way, to cut a long opinion short, all I`ll say is I`m 100% sure a house type of mix would work quite well on Little mix`s Señorita. Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink.
Someone should get properly on it.

In the pack there`s the 11 vocal stems & our M1 organ riff (and a midi file for it), which is similar to the Organ riff made for the Beyonce “Break My Soul” track.
Add a 4/4 kickdrum and a few other things at 116 bpm and away you go.

First plug of the week this month goes to Chrіstіnа Aguіlеrа & Benny Benassi with the 20th Anniversary Remix of “Beautiful”. It is also the 20th anniversay of Christina`s Beautiful ProTools session not leaking. Which is totally real and does exist.
IIRC there isnt much of a Beautiful acapella as such out there either, hence “the bits to filter” pack down below.
The 2022 remix itself, put simply, is a beast. Its classic Bennasi, and sounds exactly how you think it will, if not better.

Might have mentioned in passing a few times on the blog that theres a new Elton John & Britney Spears song (out now) that may be about to hit the top of the charts all over the world at some point?
Not a major surprise the crystal ball called this one right. What is kinda surprising is that it sounds exactly as I thought it would, if not better. Its been really nicely put together IMO, and a worthy follow up single to “Cold Heart”, which this new song is not a million miles away from. A perfectly crafted follow up single, in a nutshell.
Thing is, it begs the question tho, what is Sir Elton John going to get up to next, and who with?
So Elts matey.. if you get a bit stuck for what going to be the third single in this new mash-upy clubby/pubby vein you seem to have discovered a tad of success with.. hit me up. Got a few ideas 😉

If you are lucky enough to be in L.A on the 9th of October, Zedd has a little news for you.
And I quote:
“LA!!! My album “Clarity” is turning 10 and to celebrate I’m doing a very special LIVE CONCERT alongside a 50-piece orchestra on OCT 9 at The Dolby Theatre.
We’ll be performing the entire album live, front to back.”
Anybody else seriously wishing they were going to this gig? It`ll be sweet. Really hope someone decides to record every last note from every instrument in best separation & clarity. I think the clue is in the title of the “Dolby” theatre, so I`m not toooo worried, but still. Mr Zedd or whoever, Dont forget to press record.
Gotta say, dont you think it would be great to see even more Electronic acts and Rock acts working with orchestras and stuff ? Always love to see and hear these sort of things “with strings”. You know you`ve made it when youve got a rather large orchestra getting down with your beats, or stripping down your biggest ever hit record back to a bare boned tear-jerker.
