Some good news to bring ! Lady Gaga & Dua Lipa amongst other artists and producers have recently released some remix packs on GarageBand for everyone to dive into and remix. I could waffle on for hours here probably in regards how good this is to see and where it could take things in a really good positive direction for the whole stems thing, but, this time I wont. I`ll let you guys use your imagination. Big artists & Apple getting involved together and releasing official material to remix with their actual blessing will do me just fine. For now 😉
Had a feeling Ms Lipa was “Stem Aware”.. OK, I know its a bit obvious, with DL being in the biz quite heavily lol, but another open door like this is always good uh? Not only that, but going on a quote from her good self I found here, she also seems to be quite up for fans or whoever really, I guess, to get remixing her stuff. If thats not good news, I dont know what is. In fact, lets print said quote:

I`ve been trying to think of a way to publish news about about the DeeGees version of YSBD for a while.. & maybe I`ve sort of found an excuse to do it now.. ie : Masterpost. Good excuse as any. Anyway, if you have not seen or heard this new “cover” version of the BeeGees “You Should Be Dancin”, it is totally worth the watch. imo. Several times probably. It`s just sooooo good ! Just press play on the above video. Over a million views in a few days, so spose you`d take that.
Dunno if this is getting a full release or whatever (darent look) but you`d hope so. There`s been a new video made and released (this one), so some wheels are turning either way.. A surprise hit on the cards maybe?

Just having a general scoot round the net as you do, and came across news of a track Ive gotten much mileage out of over the years getting the 2021 remix treatment, so you could say I was happy to find Spinnin` Records have released a new mix of it. What a nice way to start the day.. give me a Korg M1 piano riff an organ bassline, and an uplifting vocal and I`m sold. Joe Stone on the mix too, and iirc, the guy “hasnt done a bad one yet”.
And I recalled their being some bits maybe from an old remix competition.. well, …found em ! Spose if you feel like remixing it, there`s worse times to do it 🙂

Long story short time.. here are some replayed parts from the remix above. There`s the Organ, Piano & Strings stems from the trusty Korg M1. Together with the older remix comp pack, I`d think there`s enough tools to be able to get something pretty close to the ManyFew & Joe Stone remix.. If someone wanted to do that of course..
Or, just do your own mix with both packs.. whatever.
