Impromptu Mash Up Competition time again !
Couldnt resist putting a pack together for these two tracks. As you may or may not know, the two do “kinda go” in the key/progression and even arrangement departments..and the pair have featured in a a fair few Mash Ups and “remixes of sorts” over the years. All of them have been worthy of a listen while prepping this post, and in each one if you go on a searching mission, you may notice many similarities, and yet some differences, but all on a theme. The theme being the same two tunes being used for a remix or a Mash Up..
But, as good as those mixes are, there could be room for a little upgrade to the works already out there. Seems most of the Mash Ups currently floating about on the web all used the Adele (Studio Acapella) of R.O.T.D and an instrumental of Sweet Dreams with backing vocals. Perish the thought. The mixes I`ve listened thru vary from 2009 upto 2020 which leaves imo, plenty of room for an updated version or three. Maybe even more. Why not. Every DJ worth their salt will want to do their own “special DJ mix” for their sets surely, if they get the feels for revisiting such a dare I say it “classic” or maybe a future classic mash.
And because we are approx ten years down the road from when these two singles were released, and Acapellas & Instrumentals have been improved upon by Stems & AI, in the CR Mash Up Pack, the materials available now to remixers are of much higher quality, which makes things a bit tastier & much easier when it comes to (re)creating that future legendary Mash Up of which you are about to make. For instance, the “new” Sweet Dreams instrumental doesn`t have the BV`s there spoiling things, and the Adele vocal is all now split into lots of very handy stems. That`s an improvement right there from what the OG Mash Up makers had to use. Then, if you so choose, you could maybe add a few musical bits and bobs from the actual Adele stems pack for Rolling In The Deep. Add a bit of a sprinkling of pixie dust, et voila.
Before I forget – the semi serious bit. For the AI nerds amongst us and the curious, both Sweet Dreams packs are worthy of a listen on their own, and together, especially if you want to have a quick listen to how things are moving on in the “AI filtering world”, and how much the quality is improving, and how quickly, more to the point.
The first pack (the MP3`s one) was created only maybe a couple of months ago. The newer WAV pack was created from “AI software” that is made with “new techniques” that are apparently much more recent. As in there`s been only a 2 months gap between these packs being made..recently. Wow. Things move fast ! And we know both guys a have done their absolute bestest on these filters, (not knocking anyone here), so personally, I think its pretty cool everyone can get to hear in almost real time, how AI filtering is improving so much and how its doing so, so quickly.
btw, thanks and shouts out to the guys making these AI packs. Hope to see many more. Definately a new niche growing nicely around AI in the stems scene for sure. More power to you all I say. Literally. Giga tons..Its not as though there isnt enough to keep everyone super busy for a while yet is it?
OK guys, dont forget, aaaall you have to do to win the “Rolling in the Sweet Dreams” CR Mash Up Contest is to be the first to get your production finished & out there with an added “2023” on the end of the title. Spose it`d help if it was the biggest and freshest thing out there tbh, but as long as its on a par with the other versions, but a little more upto date, you`ll be fine, I`m sure, and have an “internet AI type hit” on your hands. If there`s plenty of interest in your creation feel free to ask David Guetta to do a “remix” maybe (he`ll want to do one anyway) and you`re all set for a chunk of stardom. The labels will love you. Clearanco no problemo. Just dont mention anything about AI being involved if poss. In case your new banger becomes a big hit on You Tube and Tik Tok, Spotify, and Soundcloud and goes viral in two days . So, careful with that one. 
Thinkin about it, maybe its safer to just finally do that bootleg remix of “Sweet Dreams” you`ve always wanted to do.

I suppose you could call this unreleased song from the Little Mix “LM5” album a “dropped track”, as many people already have, but I`d be tempted to call it “Still W.I.P”. Leaving the instrumental aside for this minor review, to these old ears, the actual song and vocals are all ticking boxes.. so dunno. Why the doom and gloom? Whats the old saying? something like “A demo is a demo till its officially released” ?? Either way, to cut a long opinion short, all I`ll say is I`m 100% sure a house type of mix would work quite well on Little mix`s Señorita. Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink.
Someone should get properly on it.

In the pack there`s the 11 vocal stems & our M1 organ riff (and a midi file for it), which is similar to the Organ riff made for the Beyonce “Break My Soul” track.

Been a warm minute since there`s been some Pink news, but now there is some. Hot on the heels of her 2022 American Music Awards performance comes an announcement of a new album (the 9th), entitled “Trustfall“. Sounds a bit James Bond, but we`ll let it go. Release date scheduled for Feb 17 2023 via RCA/Sony.
She`s going to be a busy gal next year for sure. There`s the Summer Carnival tour, which sees dates in the UK in June 2023, after which P!nk will then hit North American stadiums mid July with a line-up featuring Belinda Carlisle, Pat Benatar and Nelly Furtado, Grouplove and KidCutUp.
Oh, and there`s this new single. Almost forgot. Getting carried away in plugland there. Its called “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” and is the first single to be taken from the new album. Produced and co-written by Max Martin (who now seems to be quite into the stems lark) 
and Shellback. The song is described by Billboard as “a bouncy new double-negative-into-a-positive single“. Nice line. So basically the song is an inverse Careless Whisper?
Not quite. To ball-park the single a little for you I spose it`s not a million miles away from what Kylie & Dua Lipa (amongst others) have been doing with the disco thing, and I would totally go so far as to say the “lets get this on all the radio stations in every corner of the globe” dial has well and truly been turned up to 11 on this. Its pure pop, so be careful. One sip, you`ll get away with, 2 or 3 run thru`s and your brain will play the hooks back to you in the morning. Hope the rest of the album follows suit.
So yeah, some big promo on/in the cards for P!nk over the coming year or so. I`ve already spruced up the P!nk Masterpost in eager anticipation.
You never know there may be some new stems appear on the internet at some point.

“LA!!! My album “Clarity” is turning 10 and to celebrate I’m doing a very special LIVE CONCERT alongside a 50-piece orchestra on OCT 9 at The Dolby Theatre.
We’ll be performing the entire album live, front to back.”
Anybody else seriously wishing they were going to this gig? It`ll be sweet. Really hope someone decides to record every last note from every instrument in best separation & clarity. I think the clue is in the title of the “Dolby” theatre, so I`m not toooo worried, but still. Mr Zedd or whoever, Dont forget to press record.
Gotta say, dont you think it would be great to see even more Electronic acts and Rock acts working with orchestras and stuff ? Always love to see and hear these sort of things “with strings”. You know you`ve made it when youve got a rather large orchestra getting down with your beats, or stripping down your biggest ever hit record back to a bare boned tear-jerker.

Oh Boy. Where to start on this one. Talk about dont believe the hype ! There is news. Was going tag this on the end of the Beyonce Masterpost, but this may go on a while as there`s so much to unwrap.
So you may have heard by now, there`s a new Beyonce album due, after just a wee gap of about six years. Give or take. Well, here soon & filling that gap is the new album, Renaissance, (out July 29) and it has to be said, the new single “Break My Soul” is quite the departure from the entire last album. Dunno what the rest of the LP`s tracks are like yet, but I hope there`s a few similar to the new single.
Thats not even the news.. well it is sort of is..
BUT !
This is the news:
Bey`s gone HOUSE. And not only house.. but early 90`s flavoured Old School house, and with some current vibes from the UK`s own Organ House scene.. and those guys, Ive heard on the old grapevine, are all going absolutely bonkers about this fact/new tune combo. Its like 20 odd years of work on the “underground” has been finally been validated. Yeah.
I think they were secretly worried it was going over peoples heads. or worse.
Maybe the planets are all lined up nice this time.ha.
For a bit of context & blatant plugging here, admittedly, the Organ House thing its still a smallish, but dedicated scene here in the UK. Mainly up in the the northern half of the country. Its one of our current “underground” club staples these days I suppose that goes hand in hand with the UK Bassline nights “Up North”. Organ stuff generally is a bit cheesier than the hardcore warpy basslines side of things, and therefore is kinda seen by clubbers as the next leg up.. or a knees up, if you like, after maybe outgrowing a commercial club for a nights entertainment. Thats how many would see things this end.. same old songs/anthems. Bootlegged and/or remixed. Bigger kick drum.
So theyre on that hopium right now waiting for that boom to the moon. I hope it comes for them. It has been a fun 20 years tho uh? Robin S `s “Show Me Love” has a lot to answer for. But now the entire world is going to hear an M1 organ riff and B hooked. Again.
Ultimately, this is the new single, its a hit no doubt, and comes complete with a four to the floor kick, the aforementioned chunky M1 organ and a pretty large piano. I`d bet this was nothing but extremely well planned from the start, and executed rather well it seems too lol by B and her producers. Its not news Queen B has always been a fan, and an early fan at that of UKG, so yup, no doubt there`s knowledge of of whats tickling the UK floors right now embedded in the heart of Break My Soul. and I would hazard a guess the crystal ball aint going to be needed here to predict a worldwide smash.. its Beyonce.. and She`s back. With a capital B.
And there`s an Acapella. Already. Absolutely the way to go.
Dont wanna jinx things saying “the stems leaking wont take long” but maybe..the stems leaking wont take long
And just in case any of B`s team happen to read this, IMO, this here little ditty would make a really good remix competition track you know?.. Maybe someone could make that happen ?

Gossip time !
For those not in the know, yours truly and more than a few of our members have been trying to secure two very well known Madonna multitracks for approx 3-4 months, since the announced sale (here) but with the end result being no joy whatsoever. In a nutshell. I guess expecting to get them first before they did the rounds might have been a bit much. We did try.
One of the two is obvs the full Like A Prayer multi which I am assured is “coming soon”.. and the other one, is still only being talked about in hushed tones, so we`ll leave the naming of that one alone cos I dont want to be the one that jinx`s it probably like I did on Dua Lipa`s “Levitating” which is a whole nother story anyway.
So for now, just the acapella of Like A Prayer is available to help get any prospective new remixes underway.
Only 320k Mp3 quality as yet, and fyi, the WAV in the pack is upscaled.

Well, since it is officially the “month of love” (sort of) I thought it might be an idea to try something different here on Club Remixer, so this month, just for fun, were going to focus on those old favourites.. Love Songs ! (probably amongst other things tbh) but anyway..
Starting things off with a vocal pack that has been wanted by many a remixer for a very long time, and since love is in the air, (or shortly to be – dont forget Valentines Day guys btw) I reckoned this might be appreciated in certain circles.
Think a fair few folk have gotten on this recently by the looks of it, but still, cant wait to hear some new versions of this Old School classic remixed by our guys tho, (so do drop any mixes in)… and Ive a feeling there will be quite a few hitting the web shortly, so no time to waste.

Just having a general scoot round the net as you do, and came across news of a track Ive gotten much mileage out of over the years getting the 2021 remix treatment, so you could say I was happy to find Spinnin` Records have released a new mix of it. What a nice way to start the day.. give me a Korg M1 piano riff an organ bassline, and an uplifting vocal and I`m sold. Joe Stone on the mix too, and iirc, the guy “hasnt done a bad one yet”.
And I recalled their being some bits maybe from an old remix competition.. well, …found em ! Spose if you feel like remixing it, there`s worse times to do it

Long story short time.. here are some replayed parts from the remix above. There`s the Organ, Piano & Strings stems from the trusty Korg M1. Together with the older remix comp pack, I`d think there`s enough tools to be able to get something pretty close to the ManyFew & Joe Stone remix.. If someone wanted to do that of course..
Or, just do your own mix with both packs.. whatever.
